Question:

I have Recurrent DREAMS of my parents, but they are VERY negative.?

oh yeah , alot of the dreams I have and had ...actually happened in real life , not all of them ....and I don't currently speak to either of them , because they're a package deal , ya know,lol....it's been 7 yrs in total , on and off.

  1. It sounds like unresolved issues to me. Might I suggest that you start with a dream journal? If it fits your style, let yourself explore whatever notions come up with the journaling. Resolving the unresolved is usually not so difficult once you give yourself permission.

    Age, etc., make no difference. Time and place have no meaning in the healing process.


  2. I know exactly what you mean!  It might get better when they enter their second childhood or whatever! ;- )  For a minute, anyway.

    You obviously long for more closeness with them, but the price is too high.

    Pray for wisdom.  Pray for God to bless them and meet their needs.  Ask Him to BE your Father and your Mother and fill the holes your birth parents have left in your heart and self esteem.
