I'm working on Freeskate 2 and 3. (USFSA)

I just recently (today) had to tighten the screws on my boot because they became loose. Do I need a stronger boot and blade?

  1. TODAY OR MAYBE IN THE WINTER??? WAIT TILL WAINTER I SAY UNLESS ITS ALREADY SNOWING WHERE YOU LIFE ....CANADIANS LOL

  2. Ridell skates are a very good skate. The only reason I don't like them is because they fit tight on my feet, but if they fit you fine, keep them. They can take you very far.

About the s***w, my friend has Ridells too, and her s***w fell out during the ice show. Either it is just the skate, or they just came out from everyday skating. The movement of the skate can loosen it too.

  3. Chances are that the s***w just came loose from use. But you do need new skates, Blue ribbons are not good enough for what you are doing now. Here is the Riedell recommendation chart for boots and blades

You should look at Silver Star or LS 1310 boot. There are many options for your blade.

  4. Wow only 3 months and you're in FS 2/3 already?! But that is a short amount of time to buy new skates. You should wait 6 months to a year and a half.
