  2. Sleeping trouble (also called insomnia) can be helped by using a nighttime sleep aid such as Nytol. If you have already tried this and it did not work then go and visit your GP. He or she may then prescribe you a medicine that is more stronger, for example from the benzodiazepine class (e.g Nitrazepam).

Alternatively the following methods (non medical) may also help you may with your sleeping trouble.

Avoid substances that interfere with sleep close to bedtime (e.g., caffeine, nicotine, or alcohol).

    - Make sure your bed is comfortable.

    - Make sure your bedroom is dark and quiet- not too hot, not too cold and not too humid.

    - Avoid strenuous exercise late in the evening.

    - If you are preoccupied with anxieties, try to take time to solve them before going to bed. If you cannot solve them, try "letting go" by writing them down and leaving them until the next day.

    Hope this helps

  3. :) Warm milk...gross...

Anyways--the cheapest method I know that works is melatonin. It's in the vitamin section at the store and it's only about three dollars. Take it a half hour before you're going to lay down...it will knock you out! It rocks.

  4. try excersising a lot like 3 hours before you go to bed. it makes your extremely tired.. nd if that does not work go to the doctor and they will prescribe you the right type of sleeping pills

-coming from a person who gets average 4 hours of sleep a night
