I have TV's that are class B digital units (FCC). Does that mean that they have digital tuners?

  1. FCC certification and the features of the tuner are two separate things.

    FCC Class B is usually associated with commercial grade products, and has nothing to do with the tuner's specifications whatsoever.

    To find out if your TVs have digital tuners in them, you'll have to check their manuals.  In general, if it's a HDTV that was manufactured within the past 2 years, there's a very good chance that they the digital tuners in them.  Otherwise, they probably don't.
