Is nit possible to purchase an additional compatable box for a tv with none, record programs , disconnect from cable/wire and connect to a tv at a remote location for viewing of recorded programs? Is the box programed by installer at time of setup? Or is it simply connected?

  1. The box is just installed. It is locked to your account. you can move it from set to set if you want. Generally, they do need to be connected to the cable, so probably it would have to be connected to the cable at each location.

  2. i'm not sure about that but i know it's only like five bucks a month more to add a second box and we spent about a year with just the one cable box and found that no one wanted to watch any of the other tv's, finally we decided to pay the extra five and it's one of the best decisions we could've made.
