I called TW, and they said I needed to get a subpoena, how do you get a subpoena, does it cost any money, do you have to press charges...is there anyone out there that can just trace my last call from my home number?? Thank you!

  1. golly that sounds awful i do know that private calls can be collectors as they do that so you dont know who they are .I use to get those so i would pick up phone click it on and click it off and they were gone .They have those dialers they can call three or four at a time.I dont think anyone but the phone company has the right to trace calls .You need to talk to the phone company they will help you as they  probably get that alot..Good luck

  2. If it's private TW can't give out that number. If you go through your local police they should be able to help you out. They can get involved and get the number and go from there. If nothing else, sometimes the phone company can block that number without telling you what it is.

  3. No phone company will release such information due to legal restrictions.

A court ordered subpoena (Latin for "under penalty" and meaning under penalty of law you must comply) that you must procure with the aid of a lawyer from a court that has jurisdiction will enable the phone company to provide the information.  Without the subpoena the phone company cannot release the information.

If you wish to proceed with this contact a local attorney.
