as the south african laws are that i cannot use my UK passport to leave or enter the country, only allowed to use the south african 1 for s.a. side, also i must have tickets for the plane that match my passport in regards to the second name officially printed, this confuses us as we must do it this way because it takes the south african consulate a month to change my name to my new name which iv been known by in the uk for almost 7 years but it was never changed on the S.A. official names register, id like to have 1 name and not 2 for the different countries but this isnt convenient for the time scale i have which is 1 week maybe even 2, any help would be much appreciated, thank you,

Cole :)

  1. I must be missing something - why can't you just use your South African passport and book the flights in that name?

  2. just use the one passport. if you are going to africa i would use the african passport, and then show the british on returning back to the UK if asked.
