I have UK work permit . I am planning to go to scotland on this weekend . I have sent my passport to UK home office so I just wanted to know do i need to carry my passport . is there any visa requirement for travelling scotland .

  2. If you're travelling by car, bus or train, then no you won't need any ID when you cross the Scottish border.

    If you're flying, the airline will require a form of ID. They normally ask for a passport or driving licence. Check with the airline if you are flying

    Scotland is a different country to England, but they are both part of the UK and so there is no border control between the two countries
