  1. VSP is private practice doctors. you can find one who is in network at vsp.com... or most who take the insurance mention it in their yellow pages ads.  if the doc you want to see is not in network, you may get an out of network discount and then you can submit to VSP for out of network reimbursement. I think most of their plans offer around 100 back on glasses purchased from an out of network provider. Don't recall what the reimbursement is on exam.


  2. VSP is private practice only, meaning the optometrists who don't practice in the same place you buy toilet paper and diapers.
