Verizon told me it could be my connections (like the phone line, splitter, ect.) I recently got a new modem and new everything, new phone line even. It still happens, every night at 9pm. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

  1. I second the idea of calling and complaining--if it literally is happening every night at 9pm, and goes on and off all night, I highly doubt it's a hardware issue on your end--sounds like a server problem on their end, or high-traffic of some sort.  Call them and complain and tell them that you're not going to pay for all the nights you were without internet.

  2. Other than finding the first phone outlet coming into your house and hooking the modem up to it.  I would raise h**l w/ Verizon.  And the every night @ 9pm thing sounds like server traffic to me.

As, I said put, the heat on verizon or get Cable if possible where you are.  My internet only disconnect if the power goes out ^ ^
