I have Verizon for my home phone service and I need to know how to block certain phone numbers?

  1. If you have Caller ID, the only blocking available from Verizon is 'ACR' or Anonymous Call Rejection.. This only prevents unidentified calls from getting through..(like 'Out of Area', 'Private', or 'Unknown'.). To get full protection from any number(s) you want, you need a Call Manager, available for about $99.00 from http://www.privacycorps.com  I use one, and it is great. You can stop ANY call from getting through. Always, or sometimes. No phone even rings. You can even keep 800, 877, 888 and other groups from calling.!
