I've been looking for prices and such. It claims it costs $9.99 a month or $2.99 for one use. It seems to be installed on my phone, the Verizon store claims its included (Known as "GPS" there) but doesn't say if it costs anything. No, I did not buy through them, I went online, got my LG Chocolate for FREE, rather then pay $50 for it, but the shifty salesman didn't (Obviously) say if the "GPS" feature costed anything.

I may be using this feature (Now known as "VZ Navigator, I managed to find it on my phone, once again, an older LG Chocolate) if I need to go somewhere so I want to double check it doesn't cost anything. Anyone know? I hear it uses airtime... What is this? Minutes? Or something else?

Thanks to anyone that helps me. :)

  1. The Navigator feature will be free for about 7 days when you activate it without accepting the terms. I activated it for free on my LG NV, and it deactivated about 7 days later. Just make sure you didn't accept the terms.

  2. VZ Navigator does cost $9.99/mo. When they were telling you it was included, they probably meant that the phone was GPS capable therefore able to access the service. Using the service is not free though. And as far as it using airtime, that means it is using your minutes, just like making a call.
