I have Windows XP. I had to reconfigure, and lost the "TOOLS"?

Question

In the toolbar, there was an option called tools. It had a cogwheel symbol. I used it for deleting cookies, history and other things. My computer crashed, I had to reconfigure it, and now the "TOOLS" option is gone. Kaput. Nowhere. Does anyone know how to get it back? Thank you

I think you mean in Internet Explorer.  There is a "tools" button on the menu, but if that isn't there, look for the tab bar.  Click the little double-arrow drop-down menu and there should be a tools button right there.  If you are using IE6 instead of IE7, this probably won't work.  Download IE7.
