I have XM radio built into my new truck radio, Will I be able to get Sirius Channels?

I heard today that XM & Sirius radio became one! Good news, I just got a new truck with XM for 3 months, Will I be able to get XM and Sirius? What will I have to do? anybody know? I definatly like XM and I know Sirius has lots of awesome Channels also. Help please!! Thanks all

  1. That question would have to go to the manufacturer as some units I think are unlocked by a software update but others are rock bound and with only that sat caster

    But this is from what I understand.... checking the XM and Sirius forums would be the best for this question


  2. All you will be able to do is opt in for a package which includes 10 or 11 of "the best of Sirius" channels.  Cost will be $17 monthly (versus $13 for XM only).

    Word is, this will be available starting around October.
