I have Yahoo Music and when I log on it says I need to upgrade my version.?

When I run the download it never installs. Now I am paying for Yahoo and can not use it. I even went so far as to delete it and try and reinstall to see if the new version would take on the download but I can't without resubscribing to Yahoo!!!

I have this exact same problem. I have used jukebox for years, and abt 2 months ago I logged and and was forced to upgrade (2 options appear- 'update' or 'exit') So of course i press update. It begins to install and almost at the end the error pops up "yahoo music jukebox has experienced a problem and needs to close" - and it does. I have not been able to get it working since then.

I got a new laptop just last week and tried a clean install on this machine- exact same outcome!!! I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times with the same effect.

After trying again today for the 10th time with freahly downloaded versions from yahoo, and getting the same result- I tried an experiement. I installed an old version of jukebox and what do you know- it installed, it opened, and I began using it. BUT within 2 minutes, I again got the "update or exit" option- and again, it fails.

yahoo's only help has been to say 'uninstall and reinstall' -but that does not work. I'm about to concell my subscription, even tho I've been a memeber for years and have an extensive music collection- I'd like to actually listen to it instead of spending hours trying to make it work! any help will be appreciated

When you say delete it, I hope you meant uninstall via add or remove programs. I am puzzled by what you mean you can't without resubscribing to Yahoo. What is the exact message you got when attempting to re-install.  I don't know of any restrictions unless the installer is getting confused.  Please clarify (you can "add details" to your question).
