I have a 01 cadillac dts how do I lift up the back seat to get to the battery

There could be one of two ways to do this.

1. Look on the right and left sides where the seat mounts to the floor and check to see if there are any bolts, if so remove them.

2. If not then you will need to push the seat back and at the same time pull up and do this for both sides.
