I have a 03Ext cab ranger and am installing subs, i want hard hitting bass on all music types, CVRs or L5?

If i install an L5(12 inch) it will be one in a vented box, if install CVRs(12 inch) there will be 2 in either vented or bandpass, amp is not an issue for i already have one wired up(1000w), but durability is, these will be in a daily driver (not competition)

your best bet would be to go with the two CVRs because it is more surface area and that is whats most important when it comes to how hard something will hit, its a little more important than RMS wattage- and two CVRs has a lot more surface area than 1 L5 so it will be almost twice as loud

as far as durability it does not matter which setup you go with as long as the subs and amp are matched properly (RMS wattage and impedance (ohms) and you set your gain and/or bass boost correctly)
