  1. Why would you do all of that for a cobalt?

  2. Yes it will all fit. The interior isn't worth doing. First off, the 08 looks better than the 06.  If you like the 06 more then you are best off painting your parts and changing out the radio and steering wheel and leaving it at that.

The body will absolutely fit, as long as you have a 2 door. no problems there, but it is expensive to do.  Check out crateenginedepot.com, they have good deals on just about everything you could need or want.

As for the engine, it will fit but you don't want to swap it. It will be an absolute nightmare as far as the computer goes. You are fortunate with an 08, there is tuning available for your computer, so a supercharger or turbo is a much better way to go.  Even with tearing down the engine and replacing the internals to handle all the abuse you want to throw at it, you will still be money ahead of trying to put in an lsj from an ss/sc.

  3. You would void the warranty and would really gain nothing.

  4. Yes it will fit, the Cobalt's are all the same.  PIECES OF c**p.  Not worth the money GM asks for them.  The dealerships will often refuse to even look at them if there is a problem because they know that the whole car is nothing but a heap of trash from Mexico and Italy, and a few parts from Japan.
