Question:

I have a 1 and 1/2 mile to run, push up and sit-up test and a 300 meter sprint to do.what should i eat before?

I will be doing the push ups and sit ups first, the run second and the sprint last. there will be breaks in between each.

  1. i would say yogurt and/or granola bars


  2. If your test is first thing in the morning after waking up, then I wouldn't eat anything until after all of the tests. This will allow all of the blood in your body to be used to bring oxygen to the muscles and not divert any of that energy towards digesting your breakfast.

    If you wake up at 6 am and yet your physical tests are at 2 pm, You could go ahead and eat your normal breakfast, but make sure you don't eat 2 or 3 hours before your tests so that the digestion won't be an issue interfering with your fitness.

  3. Pasta the night before.  I would eat a light breakfast if your test is early in the morning, unless you are up about 2 hours prior.  If it is later in the afternoon i would eat a good breakfast, with maybe a yogurt or something like that prior to the test. Remember to keep yourself hydrated. and have some lean protein for yourself after the test.

  4. dont eat three hours before and stop drinking an hour before eat health at least the week before and try to do these things the weeks before
