I have a 1 gallon fish tank and need help

Question

Ok so i have had fish before and they have die now i want to do this right.

What kind of fish can go in there? i was think a betta.

I just got to sat back up and i up so Top Fin water conditorer in there how long should i wait to get a fish?

How warm should the water be?

and for a betta is it ok if there is a fake plant in there

I would really suggest you get a 4-5 gallon tank at least...with a proper heater and filter...the temperature should ideally be constant 80 degrees F..but anything between 75-80 is good...fake plant is ok..try silk plant..cos the betta fins cud otherwise get damaged...there is something called betta bulbs you get at petco..try it out...

EDIT: Cover the bowl for sure...Bettas jump...

1 gallon tank is the absoloute minimum for a betta, but it could survive fine that's about all though lol, sorry i know next to nothing about bettas but the other answers seem good =]

excellent choice

bettas are ok if there is a fake plant and if the tank is not that big

but make sure you buy some rocks and hiding places where he can hide.

if there is no filter .MAKE SURE YOU CHANE THE WATER EVERY 2 WEEKS

I have my betta for 4 year and he is still doing excellent in his 2 gallon tank

remember that you can only have one male betta in your tank
