I have a 1 hr stop in Geneva, can relatives visit me in the airport. I don't have a visa, and its a refueling stop. Qatar airways..

    As you are in transit without a visa you must remain "Air-side"

    Without a boarding pass for a flight your relatives must remain "Land-side"

    Best you can do is talk to them on a mobile phone.

  2. Probably not. The Swiss are quite strict about these things.

    Honestly, I don't think you'd have time anyway. You may only get to go into the boarding area and then get right on. Sometimes, you don't even get off the aircraft.

  3. They can ask in advance, but the answer will almost certainly be No. They are not supposed to be able to enter the Arrivals/Departures area of the airport without being a passenger, and you can't leave the area without a visa.
