yes, but the power the amp is rated at for 1ohm will be 1/4 if your sub is 4ohm.

if the amp does 1000w @ 1ohm, then it will do 250w @ 4ohm.

as long as the resistance is greater then 1ohm, your ok. if it is less, thats where the trouble will begin.

yes you will be fine, the amp is stable to 1 ohm, it's the way you wire the speakers that determines the ohms not the type of amp you have...basically you can run 4 of those 4ohm speakers in parallel and not blow the amp.
