  1. wash your hands alot , use sanitizer and eat vitaminn c and zinc lozenges, they sell at trader joes. lots of water.don't sneeze in the babys direction.  try to clean everything

  2. Theres not much you can do. To be honest, if she's going to have it then it will already be in her system. Just try to avoid kissing her and wash your hands a lot. You will know if you have passed it on because she will sneeze a lot and will have lots of snot. My little one had a cold at 4 weeks old and it's not the end of the world. We just got some saline drops off the doctor which helped unblock her nose when she was having her milk.

  3. if you're breastfeeding your baby will get some of the antibodies that you're producing against this cold so if he/she does catch it, he/she won't get too sick. i'd make sure to wash hands regularly and not sneeze/cough on/near baby. not much else to do...

  4. Breastfeed as much as possible your baby will get the antibodies from you.  You can and should continue to BF with any sickness as it is very beneficial to baby to receive the antibodies.  Your body can even make antibodies to something your baby has been exposed to that you were not...interesting

    Hope you feel better

  5. If you are nursing, you may need to express your milk and feed your baby via a bottle. You may be able to still nurse, but perhaps a face mask would lessen the risk of passing along your illness. Given the high needs of your child, though, he or she may already be exposed. Nursing will help your baby in the long run because your own milk will help the baby's immune system. Remember, whatever you ingest, your baby ingests, too, so watch what medication you take. Talking with a pediatrician or general practice doctor would be in order, if your symptoms continue. God bless.

  6. dont worry, my 3 year old got a bad bad cold the day after me and my newborn son got home from the hospital and then i got sick the day after that, and it was like the longest sickness of my life, it seemed as though my 3 year old was sick forever as well, all you can do is make sure you are washing you hands and just try not handling the baby as much, if you got someone that can help you that would be wonderful. but if the baby is gonna get it hes gonna get it and you will know. take medicine to try and clear if faster. good luck to you

  7. I was sick 2 or 3 times just after my daughter was born. If your breastfeeding then just do your usual thing, ur milk will carry antibodies to protect your bub. If ur bottle feeding I would suggest maybe having someone else feed them, or go to a dr and ask.
