I have a 12 guage shotgun my dad gave me and I want to know how much it's worth.

All I know is that it's over 60 years old and it was made by J. Stevens Arms Company in Chicopee Falls, Massachussetts. The only identifying number on it is 455KB.

It would help to know if it is a double-barrel or single-barrel, but if it were mine and given to me by my father, it would be priceless.

I have an ancient Hopkins Allen single-barrel that monetarily would be worth much less than $50.00.  But it belonged to my grandfather, it was the first shotgun I ever fired, and to me, it is absolutely priceless.  I'd not trade it for a new Holland and Holland Royal Grade Double.

I don't know how much it is worth but I would like to say that you should keep the gun in the future you can pass it on to your kid. (If you have/going to have any) I feel that sentimental value is worth more then money. But this is just my opinion......
