I have a 12 week old puppy whose p***s is stuck out about 1/2 inch?

Question

I took him to the vet last night (emergency vet) and they got it back in. They gave me a prescription for penicillin and a collar to keep him from l*****g it. He was fine last night.

This morning it came out a little more, I called the vet, they said he would be okay if it was just a little. Now, it is almost 1/2 inch out and I don't know what to do. I spent almost $400.00 on this already and I am not getting any resolution.

I was hoping another dog owner out there has had a similar situation and can give me some advice.

I would just leave it! It happened to my dog! Its FINE! Don't worry! it will be ok!

Get a second opinion.  Sometimes there is a tiny anatomical defect that causes this, and snipping it can fix it sometimes.
