  1. my son is almost 2 months and he has always made those noises and my daughter used to do them to and they sound concerning but i think it's normal because both my kids have done it.

  2. I have a 2.5 week old newborn and he does the same thing, and my older child did the same.  I think it is normal.  I think they are just adjusting to life outside the womb in reference to formula, breast and bottle feeding.  I notice that when he eats or swallows too much he does  this.  He also does it if hes not hungry.

  3. My daughter did this a lot at first. Her doctor said as long as it didn't last more then a minute or so and she didn't stop breathing or turn color. Then she is okay.

She is 7 weeks old now.

  4. I have a 4month old who used to do that a LOT when she was a newborn. I was worried &  asked the ped. about it and she told me that it was normal and pretty common. She said it is just another way the baby tries to expel something from their throat. It stopped altogether when she was about 10 or 11 weeks old.
