  1. i have a maltipoo and they are very intelligent dogs, i know my baby will not pee or p**p in the house but will hold it in....try to make ur dog waitin like until 6am....and when he gets used to it then shift it another hour...dnt think he will need too long to learn

  2. Feed him his last meal earlier and take him for a long walk before bed, walking has a way of making dogs go potty.

  3. Do you feed them on a schedule or leave food down all the time? Try giving him his food a little later the evening before. Dogs usually have to go around the same amount of time after eating, if you feed him later he shouldn't have to poo until later. Your other option is to indoor train them to puppy pads or a WizDog then you wouldn't have to get up to let him out.

    Hope this helps!

  4. Reprogram? Puppies ain't robots, darlin.

It's what you have to do when you have a young pup.

And by the by, please stop calling your dog a 'Maltipoop', it's a Mutt that you could easily of found in and Dog Shelter.

Not being mean or anything, it's just fact.

Anyways, you'll have to put up with this until your puppy is house trained. Young pups can't hold their bladder long, so expect frequent visits to the bathroom.

Also, having him in a crate for his correct size will make sure he doesn't go to the bathroom before you have a chance to take him out (he won't want to soil his bed).

  5. He's still very young! Try changing his feeding schedule?

  6. Crate training is a great way to train your dog.

The crate only needs to be big enough for your dog to stand up, turn around and lay down. If any bigger than that you will more and likely have accidents.

I dog likes to keep there den area clean and will do there best not to soil where they sleep.

If you have to feed her at a specific time everyday then take her bowls up so she can't get to them easily. Do not allow her to have water or food after a certain time every night.

It was 10 pm for me every night. Then I would wait 30 minutes and take my dog outside.

I found that less and less my pups were having accidents.

Make sure you take her out right before you go to bed. Then put her in the crate.

Then first thing when you wake up take her out.

She is a young puppy so you are bound to have accidents because her muscles are not strong enough yet to "hold" it.

  7. That might just be his schedule. Maybe if you put him in his crate later (make him potty later) then he won't get up as early? He might just not be able to hold it that extra hour or two yet...

  8. No, it's what puppies do.
