  1. i used to have the same sort of problem too, now its much better.

check if she has dandruff or any sort infection in her head, as bacteria from the scalp fall on the forehead and cause pimples.

go to a doctor and get the dandruff treated if its bad, or condition her hair with henna [that's what i did, although its mucky and time consuming]. i recommend to use Loreal or Garnier shampoo, those worked best for me, although thats not that important.

the product thats really good is Panoxyl cream by Steifel, that got rid of the pimples for my in just 2 weeks or everyday use. you can get it from any pharmacist i'm sure

although if you are sick of products, you can try simple natural things.

tell her to wash her face with water every hour.

also, slice up very thin long slices of cool cucumber and lay them all over her face, and keep it that way for half an hour, this this about every two days.

sweating is very good in keeping the skin healthy, tel her to get into a sport or go for bike rides.

also, don't use cosmetic face washes, in fact none of the face washes worked for me, they work for about a week, then they make the condition worse. so stop uses of all face washes and cosmetic products on her face cold turkey.

even i tried every single d**n thing that the stores offered, from face washes to anti-acne creams, but going to a dermatologist was the only thing that helped. he gave me this Panoxyl cream, and its so chaep and worked wonders. plus its permanent too.

and the last thing is that, at 13 years old, many girls get bad acne. with age and hormones they go away. tell her of this. and to make her self esteem better, tell her that its better to get the acne now and be over and done with it, because people who don't get it now get them later, when its much worse.

    hope this helped

    ;D

  2. It's been long disproven that diet contributes to acne. So, ignore that mess of suggestions.

With that being said, does your daughter use hair products in her hair, particularly her bangs, which would be causing trouble on her forehead? Does she wear her bangs covering her forehead?

If she does, the answer is obvious: stop it.

If she does not, try using a natural cleansing agent such as one of trader joe's that has tea tree oil, a natural anti fungal agent that won't strip away moisture. then, she should absolutely use a moisturizer, no matter how greasy she feels.

So many of these chemicals marketed as facial cleansers these days, do more harm than good. You'll want to be sure to stay away from any product containing sodium lauryl or laureth sulfate (99 percent of cleansers) and any moisturizer containing mineral oil/petroleum jelly... also, stay away from any makeup powder containing talc.

im  not sure where you live. id normally suggest you going down to your local whole foods or trader joe's. if you do not have the luxury of such proximity to these places, try buying products online like "kiss my face" or "burt's bees"....

i used to have uncontrollable eczema until discontinued use of all unnatural shower soaps, fragrances, dish soap, shampoo, deodorant, makeup and powder.

    big difference.

  3. Firstly get her off all sweets, chocolates etc and get her to wash her face with a rough sponge twice a day (this will help release the oils in her pores) and drink plent of water. This will work!!

    Good Luck

  4. See your doctor and get the anti-biotic tetracycline, it works wonders and fast too
