I have a 15 horse boat motor and want hook up a ignition switch it has 4 wires were do they go on the switch?

The only thing that we can tell you at this distance is to keep trying different places...keeping in mind the the one to the starter is that position that is only 0n momentarily ....one is likely a common or ground and the other two are the on and off power and you want to check them to be sure they are off when you take the key out !
