I should mention that I am an in-state resident, I am currently going to Michigan for my undergraduate degree, I am female (white,) and I plan on signing up for early decision, wherein an applicant gets more consideration for applying early. For the June 2008 LSAT, 159 is the 78th percentile, and after LSDAS got my transcript and made whatever deductions it is they make, I ranked in the top 3% for GPA in the country out of people who took the LSAT in the last 3 years. Thanks, hope the extra info helps.

  1. According to their website, "The median LSAT score for the 2007 entering class was 169 and the 25th and 75th percentiles for the class are 167 and 170, respectively. The median GPA was 3.64 with the 25th and 75th percentiles falling at 3.49 and 3.8, respectively."

Basically, that means if you had applied last year, your LSAT score would have put you in the bottom 25% of students who were accepted, but your GPA would have put you in the top 75%.

I would personally look at other schools in the area who will undoubtedly want you as a student...and will probably be willing to cover part or all of your tuition too. (University of Toledo especially is a Tier 2 school and I know four people who were accepted on full scholarship, two of whom were also offered a $10K living stipend.)

    Good luck!
