  1. Put the pup on a long line (really long leash) have a treat in your hand let her walk to the end of the long line and say her name then Come. ONLY SAY IT ONCE!! when you say "come" grab the end of the long line and pull her back to you. When she gets to you say good girl "Come" and giver her a treat. Its important to say the name of the command again when she does it correctly.

  2. Take her to obedience classes or puppy classes.  German Sheps are really smart dogs and with proper training she'll learn fast.  Many of the big chain pet stores (Petco, Petsmart) have classes forming all the time.   The classes are great to for allowing the dog to meet and socialize with other dogs.  If you two find you enjoy learning together, you can advance to agility classes which are really fun for owner and pet!

  3. use dog treats say her name and give her a treat when she comes and pet her too-make her excited about coming to you-but not overly excited that you scare her

  4. Tell her her name and give her a small treat.  Keep doing this until she learns her name.  This works well with other behavior traits too.

  5. um all i can say is keep using it at her and if she dont come go to her. just keep saying that name and make sure ur doing something that makes her know ur talking to her.

    Tips & Warnings

Set your dog up for success: Only call when you know he's likely to come. Otherwise, you'll be teaching him not to come.

Adopt a casual, relaxed attitude and practice with your dog throughout the day.

If the treat isn't enough to entice your dog to come, put a leash on him and face him, leash in hand (leave some slack on the leash). Give the "come" command and then give the leash a gentle tug. Reward your dog when he comes to you.
