Sounds like it would be an 1800w air conditioner.

Start up is what you have to worry about.

If it pulls more than 14 amps during start-up, your 1800w generator may not pull it.

Try it and find out. I have a pipe threader that I use on my 1875w generator. But I can only do it with a short heavy extension cord. I mean a large, heavy, but short cord.

1800 watts at 120 volts = 15 Amps.   A very small 5000 BTU will work but be a strain.

Not going to happen ! Even a small 5,000 watt window unit will require more amperage than your generator is capable of handling.
