I have a 1913 Solid Gold piece that say "1st prize Remington Typewriter how much is it worth?

  1. The coin should have markings that say 24k gold.

    Then your "solid gold" argument is o.k.

    It should also mention its weight (1 troy oz.,5 oz etc...)

    Currently one troy ounce of gold is trading for roughly $930.

    p.s. You can also go to ebay and type in Gold Coin and get an idea based on other coins.

    You can try weighting your gold and use the total weight to (X) S$43.00/gm.

    This is the market value in singapore right now if I'm not wrong.
