  1. Not really, meaning you won't get rich.  There are lots of them out there.  But to be sure, go to a bookstore and lookup a historic currency book for it's value.  You need to define what condition it's in also.

    Keep it regardless.  It only becomes more valuble.  It may even help your children or grandchildren with a history assignment at some point.


  2. Since you called it a nickel I would say there is a 5 on it so it would be a 5 Reichpfennig ( world coin books run the two words together as one word). You have an F after the date so I will say that is the mint mark and it stands for Stuttgart. With a mintage of 24,662,000 it is not very scarce. Depending on grade it sells for .25 to $1. You have a coin that has more history value than a monetary one. It is a good thing it can't talk, for it might have some real horror stories to tell. World war II collectors would have an interest in such a coin.  

  3. Well, I don't know about the rest of the world, but in Germany its not worth much. Plus, it ain't a nicke. (Germany had Mark and pfennig) Its worth more that its original value though. Wait a bit longer.
