  1. a penny I have lots of older pennys than that and are still not worth anything if there is not anything significant about the penny  like defects and such.

  2. I really doubt you have a real 1943 copper penny since none have come to lite for a good many years. Until you have it authenticated it is worth nothing. If proven to be real and graded and placed in a slab, it would be worth thousands. let a few dealers see it and they can send it in for you or go to www.anacs.com and get a submission form and do it yourself. It will cost you. Try the magnet again a good strong one.
