I have a 1967 Mercury 500...?

I have a 1967 Mercury 500, it needs a new cap and/or rotor, other than that it is in great condition. I want to sell it and get another 40-50 HP Mercury. What should I be asking for the 1967 Merc? I need to sell it ASAP.

jtexas is very generous.  I wouldn't give $200, running or not, for a 40 year old motor.  Maybe you can find a collector.

fix the cap & rotor, increase the value substantially.  I wouldn't give $200 for any motor that won't start.
