  1. Well, you probably aren't going to like this answer, but here goes....

Both my daughters, now 21 and 24, learned to ride on Schwinn Breezes. They were made in 20", 24" and 26" wheeled versions. My daughters each rode them until I got them a "good" bike.

In 1990 I bought a 1968 20" Breeze in nearly perfect shape for $20 at a yard sale. I still have it. In 1994 I bought a 1969 24" one, again in nearly perfect shape for, um, $20. Still have that one too. Then, in 1997 I bought 2 26" Breezes from 1968- one blue and one red, each for- you guessed it- $20. Those I sold at a yard sale a couple of years ago for the princely sum of $20 each.

So, based on my experience you can be sure that the bikes are solid and well built, but even in the best of shape you could expect about, well, $20. Maybe $30 if you are really lucky.
