This is a moped not a scooter. It is started by pedalling it, or can be started on the kickstand and then run.

  1. Check around there is a whole market of people who     ride  and collect the old   Vespa's. you might start by running a search on your browser for Vespa owners groups. Vespa's are starting to be like Cushman and very collect able. The  guy who said 10-200 dollars doesn't have a clue.

  2. i've seen full restored vespa's of similar years go for up to 3500 on craigslist.....

i wouldn't expect that much, but vespa's are considered a classic, so they hold their value well.

  3. $10.00 to $200.00 depending on where you live and local market. The moped is 30 years old so many people won't buy it.  The college crowd in some places will buy running old mopeds and scooters for a couple hundred.  The Vespa collectors may pay a bit more but that is a special market buyer. Salvage /parts dealers will pay scrap price + a bit more for some popular models that proved a market for spares- as Honda sprees, Yamaha's that college crowd has head on crash and fall down drunk incidents that need front end and side panels replaced.
