I have a 1983 c10 fullsize whant to put more lights on?

ok i put some lights on my truck like a lot of them but when i turn my truck off and let them on it killed my battery but i want to know if i can get a other battery just for the lights that i don't have to run to my alternator just one the is made just or lights.

Anytime you leave lights on you kill the battery. duh?

Two choices.  Don't leave the lights on without the truck running, or switch over to LED lights.

If you put in a second battery, and don't charge it, it will go dead also.  If you do charge it, you'll need an isolator, and they are not cheap.

too much lights take up too much v's...dats y

Install a aux. battery with the isolator. That way when the engine is running it will charge both batteries but all your lights will only pull from the aux. battery. They start at around $20 bucks and go up from there.

Be sure to wire the lights to the aux. battery!
