  1. 3 things to check.

    1. check the distributor, a lot of times that will fix the random bog down

    2. I assume it's black smoke , So I would check your map sensor first, it's back on the bulkhead "firewall". unplug it and see if it makes any changes.

    3. check the injectors their are either leaking, or you need new o-ring seals. you can get a used set from some of the import tuner guys seling them cheap on craigslist. Do not buy autozone injectors they do not work, I learned my leason.

  2. the gas would be bad by now so I would throw in some fresh gas

the color of smoke makes a differnce if its white and sweet smelling its coolent

if its blue its burning oil

if its black then you have unburnt fuel excaping into exaust

  3. sounds like there is moisture in your fuel system from all the time it has been sitting around. Go out and get some fuel system drier bottle and pour that into your fuel tank and that should help get rid of your smoke problems.
