  1. 18+ Years Old, Tank Vent Hose and/or Tube Clogged or Damaged (Rear Top of tank), Fill Adapter (Where you put the pump nozzle), Filler Tube at Tank or hose between the two Damaged. Best bets are Vent Tube & Hose and Hose at Filler Neck.

  2. try pumping the gas in more slowly (only squeeze the lever a little bit) and do not put the nozzle in as far. Many cars do the same thing as yours and this works for 99.9% of the vehicles.

  3. It is because of too much pressure in your gas tank. You probably have a restricted vent valve in the evaporative system

  4. there is a restriction in the fill neck that or the gas tank vent is plugged most likley the second option it the failed part

  5. Do you stick the pump nozzle all the way into your fill neck? Sometimes the nozzles have a sensor that won't allow you to fill unless the rubber part is firmly pressed against your fill neck. Another problem may be splash back. Try inserting the nozzle and rotating it around. My car seems to like the nozzle completely upside down.
