I have a 1990 NIssan 240sx want to do a complete swap...

Question

It has currently a KA24E stock motor and auto tranny want to get a sr20 stock motor and auto tranny would it fit in my car?And if it does where can i get a complete swap and whats the price on it?

If your gonna go sr20, i suggest getting a 5 speed tranny. I really prefer KA, but you do what you want. I found a website that sells complete swaps. http://www.jspecauto.com/catalog_categor...

An SR20DE engine is a great upgrade but I suggest you upgrade your tranny too cause that would be the first thing to break when you upgrade your engine. Do you want an SR20DE or SR20DET? Cause if you want a turbo... auto should be out of the question! A manual tranny will better fit an SR20DET and give you the best performance you can get! The average price of a SR20DE=$2000+, SR20DET=$3000+, and a manual tranny will cost $1000-1500! Including labor! Keep up the swap! Let me know if you want to ride in LA anytime!
