  1. Actually, you take the plug out and connect it back to the plug wire, have someone "bump the engine a few times, while you place the tip of a s***w driver to the end of the plug.If it sparks, you got fire. this merely checks your distributor to be sure it's sending out an electric pulse to ignite the plugs.. But it's a good start.. Good luck!

  2. got spark, fuel pulse a spark tester and a noid tester are basic tools to diagnios fuel injected cars could be igniton module or coil pack or even bag plugs and wires blown fuse check all that

  3. do a fuel pressure test to make sure it is getting enough fuel, then check to see if you are getting a good spark,if you are it should fire up.good luck

  4. You need air, gas and spark

    I assume you have air..

If you have air, make sure you have spark:  Pull a spark plug out re-connect it and put it on the engine while you have your friend turn the engine over.   No spark?  Check distributor and ignition.

If you have air and spark, Make sure you have gas:  Spray starting fluid into the carb. (1-2 seconds) or into your air cleaner (4-5 seconds) The car should start briefly.  If it starts, you know you have problems with the gas supply.
