i changed the factory radio in it a few months back. after maybe a month the cd player i put in stopped working. realizing i left a wire exposed i thought i might have accidentally caused a short in the player. so i spent money to get a new cd player but after i hooked it up it still did not work. all the wires have been hooked up properly and i have the proper wire adapter. As a test i got the factory radio which still worked when i took it out and plugged it back in. nothing worked on it either. so then i checked the fuse and the fuse was fine. im out of ideas on what to check. someone mentioned having to rewire the power source but that sounds complicated and i wouldnt even have any idea where to begin. So im coming to u guys for help. any ideas on what the problem might be or how to fix it? cheapest way possible please.

  1. you prob have one of the turn on leads for the deck hooked up wrong, lookback at your instructions, find out what colour it is, and re -cheak all your connections.

sounds like a wireing problem to me :)

  2. Your wiring ISN'T righjt!!- Probabaly, you need to switch the power wires- you should have 2, one constant, and one that goes On and OFF with the key. Or need a better ground. Or you checked the wrong fuse( You wouldn't believe how often this happens!).
