  1. Cars that old are sold as is meaning its yours once you sign the papers.  I wouldn't have bought it in the 1st place since you knew it had a major problem.

  2. would of advice  ditch the grand am its only going  to nickle and dime you to death

  3. depending on wat state your in the check to see if your state has any lemon laws to keep the carbuyer safe... but the only thing for sure is to do is either pay someone to fixit or spend a weekend replacing a head gasket.... and hope it aint a cracked block or head....$$$$$ if your not haveing any trouble driving id say its prolly the the head thats cracked....sorry wish ya the best...o yea and if theres no fluiuds leaking then itsa better chance its the latter of the two choices above..

  4. I bet , If your looking at the engine it`s the front right corner. Gm has a hidden recall on that one.  Had mine fixed years ago. Forgot the info sorry

  5. Intake Manifold Gasket is leaking.

A problem common with the old Citation V6 family.

  6. Check with your local GM dealer, they had problems with the heads cracking externally! See if it is covered! It might be out by time!!
