I have a 1994 chevy silverado and my door latch just got stuck when a lady was showing me how her's was stuck

Which part of yours broke?  The handle?  The operating rods?  The lock rods?  You're a little too vague.

If your talking about the door wont close because the door latch is stuck down this is a eazy fix.While lifting up on the outer door handle move the door latch to the up position.You can do this by useing you finger to move the door latch up.Once you do this the door will close and latch.You should install some oil on the door latch when done to help keep the latch working correctly.Best of luck.

What are you talking about?

The latch that is activated by the striker bolt? Or one of the door handles? Could you be more specific?
