  1. The maintenance req light flashes around 6000 miles and stays on at around 7500 miles as a reminder to change the oil/etc.  If you have a scheduled oil changing routine though then you can reset it, since it is just a reminder and NOT an indication that something is wrong.  When you get your oil changed though, they should reset the light as well.  If not, it will come on just like you're seeing now

    How the reset the light:

    1. Turn off the engine.

    2. Press and hold the select and reset buttons on the instument panel, then turn the ignition switch ON (II)

    3. Hold the buttons for approx. ten seconds until the indicator resets.

  2. what kind of light is it is it just a light or is it an engine light because if its an engine light u have a problem with your engine but if its just a light it might need gas??

  3. Did you get your oil changed? (It's a reminder to do scheduled services.)  They should have reset it after they changed the oil. I think the manual tells how to reset it.

If you dont have a manual you can get a pdf of the manual on the Acura website.

  4. If you keep your car maintained and it's still on then you have a sensory malfunction. I believe by disconnecting the battery it will reset everything back to normal. I use to own a 2000 Honda Civic and I would get the same problem and I always took care of it
