I have a 1996 Nissan Maxima and need to know how to program a new keyless remote for it.

My child lost my remote by accident (she can't remember where she left it). Got a new one only to find out that it requires programming. The new remote is designed for Nissan Maximas, Altimas and Sentras from '95 - '99. The FCC ID = KOBUTA3T. Hoping someone can share where I can find the actual sequence instructions for programming the new remote. I know it requires the car key and have to do a series of sequencial things for it to program (thinking turning it on, playing with the radio, etc.)

get in the car, lock the doors with the door switch.

insert & remove the ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder 6 times within 10 seconds.    hazard should flash . turn ignition to ACC. , press any button on the remote...hazards shoiuld flash.

open drivers door-- end procedure.
