So the rear window defroster and heater controls dont turn on they are like push buttons and you push them in and nothing happens, there are no lights, my a/c use to have a green light when on but now there are no lights at all and nothing blows, could it be a fuse? The blower? Nothing comes out of the vents and the fan and nothing turns on its like there is no power to that whole area? We have no idea what could be wrong?

  1. check your fuses first. cheapest option. then move into the dash to see if anything is unplugged.

  2. check the connection at the rear of the control buttons since it sounds like none of the switches are working

  3. Definitely fuse(s) related.  Look under the driver's side dashboard and open the fuse panel.  Flip the fuse panel and examine the fuse diagram.  Find the 7.5 amp fuse for your heater/air conditioning relay, fuse puller, and the 7.5 amp spare fuse.  Pull out the fuse and inspect the internal metal connection.  If it looks blown, replace it with the spare fuse.

If that doesn't help, inspect the fuse for your heater motor under the hood.  Find the fuse box near the battery and inspect the 40 amp heater motor.  Replace if necessary.

    Good luck!

  4. Checking fuses is fine but wIthout a wiring diagram you are going to need a lot of luck doing much more.  I recommend taking it to a shop that has a schematic for that vehicle and let them diagnose it for you.
