I have a 1996 impala ss the engine will rotate but wont run .?

The engine lops or wants to run but dies what could this be?

Check air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, timing.  Probably in that order, from easiest to most hassle.

time to go to the repair shop and have the diagnostics done, could be a simple sensor needing replacement its hard to tell without seeing it for myself. Take it to your mechanic/ dealership and have it looked at properly

fuel, fire(ignition), or timing. one of the three! make sure the battery is fully charged.
